Ships cloaked in sand sway in the wind

When the artist learned of the fishermen’s hard labor and their shipbuilding craft, he felt the flow of time that had built their culture. The installation evokes Japanese vessels. A tangle of old nets and ropes in the bottoms create a relief-like illusion of a town.
